Robert Spalding

Robert Spalding is a board member at the Autonomy Institute. Robert was previously the senior director for strategic planning at the National Security Council and a senior defense official and defense attache to China at the US embassy. Robert has also worked at the Center for American Defense Studies, Jamestown Foundation, Hudson Institute, and SEMPRE (Secure EMP-Resistant Edge).

Robert Spalding received their PhD in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Robert then attended the Executive Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, N.C. Finally, they received their MS/BS in Agricultural Economics from California State University, Fresno.
