In 2016, they became an Escrow Officer for Oakwood Homes LLC. In 2018, they worked as an Escrow Processor/Office Management for Stewart Title. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Pastoral Support Specialist for Educational Media Foundation K-LOVE & Air1 Media Networks. Currently, they are a Business Development Representative for AUTOPAY.

Shana Hicks attended Metropolitan State University of Denver from 1990 to 1991, studying Accounting. In September 2012, they obtained a Notary Public certification from the State of Colorado.
