Koen Bonenkamp

Koen Bonenkamp has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Koen is currently the Co-Founder of Autoscriber, a position they have held since January 2021. In 2019, they became a Board Member of Enlabeler, where they focused on developing a pan-African community related to data labeling, analysis, and language specialization. Koen also served as a Board Member of Knowledgemarker starting from February 2020.

Earlier in their career, Koen co-founded Cape AI, a machine learning consulting company and venture builder. Cape AI was later acquired by Spatial Edge in April 2021. Koen also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability in early 2019.

Prior to that, Koen co-founded Bloqhouse Technologies, a trading platform for non-listed securities, and was involved in the development and sale of the company. Koen also worked at Air France-KLM as Head of Data Management, leading the data-driven transformation of the operations division. Additionally, they served as a Management Trainee at Air France-KLM.

Koen started their career as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at TNO, focusing on machine learning research. Koen'sresearch work was published at an international conference on behavioral research. Koen also worked briefly as an Extreme Blue Software Developer at IBM.

Koen Bonenkamp has a diverse education history. Koen began their academic journey at Buenos Aires Escuela de Español in 2007, where they obtained a certificate in Spanish. In the same year, they enrolled in Utrecht University and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Cognitive Artificial Intelligence, which they completed in 2011. Koen'sinterest in artificial intelligence continued, leading him to the University of Amsterdam, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Koen Bonenkamp has also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they became a certified Professional Scrum Master. In the following year, they achieved the Prince2 Foundation certification in Project Management. In 2015, they obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation in IT Service Management certification. In 2016, they became a certified SAFe Agilist. More recently, in 2022, they acquired the Associate Cloud Engineer GCP certification from Google and the Professional Mediator certification from Merlijn Groep.
