Eileen Velez

Eileen Velez has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Eileen began their career in 2013 at Barnes & Noble College as a Customer Service Representative, where they provided assistance to students, parents, and teachers, and managed textbook orders. In 2014, they worked as a Lifeguard at Walt Disney World, ensuring the safety of guests.

In 2017, Eileen joined Baptist Health South Florida as a Patient Financial Representative, where they facilitated patient understanding of insurance coverage and ensured necessary approvals for medical appointments. Eileen also had a brief stint as a Character Attendant at Walt Disney World, responsible for assisting with character interactions.

From 2019 to 2021, Eileen worked at SnugZ USA, initially as an HR Generalist & Safety Coordinator, and later as a Human Resources Manager. In these roles, they handled various HR functions and ensured compliance with safety regulations.

Most recently, Eileen joined AutoSavvy in 2021. Eileen served as an Interim Human Resources Director, overseeing HR operations, before assuming the role of HR Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Human Resources.

Eileen Velez completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the Florida International University - College of Business, which they received from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Services Administration from the College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Florida International University. Additionally, Eileen obtained certifications as a Certified Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP) from the Plan Sponsor Council of America (PSCA) in July 2022, and also completed a Disney College & International Program Internship from The Walt Disney Company in May 2017.
