Iacopo Olivo

Iacopo Olivo has been working in the tech industry since 2012. In 2015, they held a Student Internship at Consulman S.p.A. where they designed and developed a full E-Learning module and integrated it into one of the company's web applications. In 2017, they were a Member of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) | Lambda Mu Chapter and a Communication & Fundraising Assistant for the Mu Nu Chapter of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu. In 2018, they completed their Master Thesis at the University of Illinois at Chicago on multi-agent systems with a particular focus on Interactive POMDPs. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer and Behavior Planning Intern at Starsky Robotics where they designed ROS C++ and Python nodes for AV, applied security frameworks such as FMEA, and improved the company's AV truck performances in forecasting other vehicle's possible maneuvers. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at AutoX.ai.

Iacopo Olivo completed a Perito capotecnico in informatica from ITT G.Chilesotti from 2007 to 2013. Iacopo then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tongji University from 2014 to 2015. Iacopo subsequently earned a Laurea triennale in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 2013 to 2016. Iacopo then obtained a Laurea Magistrale LM in Software Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 2016 to 2018. In 2017 to 2018, they completed a Master of Science - MS in Scienze informatiche from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition, they obtained an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certification from the British Council in September 2016.
