Rachel Whitmire

Rachel Whitmire is currently the Project Manager at AUVSI. Prior to their current position, they worked at Marketplace Events as the Show Office Administrator and Operations Coordinator. There, they facilitated office operations and business functions, prepared corporate communications and financial reports, and engaged executives from major corporations. Rachel also worked on six shows per year, showcasing client products and capabilities to audiences of 45,000 people. Additionally, they led 25-person cross-functional teams in event execution.

Before Marketplace Events, Rachel Whitmire was the Director of Special Events at Junior Achievement of Central Florida. In this role, they were responsible for planning and executing special events for the organization. Rachel also worked as a marketing consultant for LivingSocial and a restaurant consultant for Restaurant.com. Additionally, they have experience as an online marketing and business analyst from their time at Tribune Interactive.

Rachel Whitmire has a certification from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP). Rachel also has a certification from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate. Lastly, they have a certification from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate.
