Scott Shtofman

Senior Manager, Grassroots Advocacy at AUVSI

Scott Shtofman is the current Senior Manager of Grassroots Advocacy at AUVSI. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Legislative Affairs at Drone Service Providers Alliance from April 2021 to January 2022. In this role, they handled policy focused agendas for the organization with the goal of creating a positive environment for drone service providers. From April 2019 to December 2020, Scott worked as a UAS Operations Strategist and Policy at FIRST iZ where they were responsible for complex operations assessments, test piloting and evaluating airframes, government policy, safety management, and overall working on the future of how drones can augment public safety, security, and asset inspection.

Scott Shtofman has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from The University of Texas School of Law, an MBA in Accounting and Tax from Indiana University Bloomington, and a BSBA in Business - Accounting and Telecommunications from Indiana University Bloomington. Scott is certified by Summit Training Source in OSHA 30 and by the State Bar of Texas as a Licensed Attorney. Scott is also certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Part 107 Remote Pilot.
