Earl Duby has held various roles in the field of information security throughout their career. Earl is currently working at Auxiom as the Chief Information Security Officer and at XFactor.io as an Advisor. In addition to these positions, Duby is also a Co-Founder of The CXO Forum.

Prior to their current roles, Duby served as the Detroit Chapter Board President at the Cloud Security Alliance, where they played a crucial role in establishing the chapter and driving its growth. Before that, they worked at Lear Corporation as the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, where they led a global team of professionals and played a key role in developing the company's security strategy.

Duby also has experience working at GE Capital, where they held positions such as Vice President of Information Security Architecture and Senior Manager of Incident Response and Security Operations. Earl Duby obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Eastern Michigan University, graduating in 1994. Earl then pursued a Master's degree in Accountancy from the same university, completing it in 1998. Later, in 2012, Earl Duby enrolled once again at Eastern Michigan University and earned a Master's degree in Information Assurance, finalizing their studies in 2017.

Additionally, Earl Duby has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include the Cloud Security Alliance's CCSK certification, which they received in August 2020. In February 2015, they acquired the SABSA Chartered Foundation (SCF) Certificate from The SABSA Institute. Earl Duby is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).

Furthermore, they possess certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), as well as the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA. Earl Duby is also qualified as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), both from ISACA and (ISC)², respectively.
