Carey Arsenault

Carey Arsenault has extensive work experience in various human resources roles. Carey is currently the Director, People & Culture at Auxly, where they provide strategic and tactical leadership to the People & Culture team. In their previous role as People and Culture Manager at Auxly, they oversaw talent acquisition, performance, and employee experience for a nationally-dispersed workforce of 500.

Prior to joining Auxly, Carey worked as a Human Resources Manager at Health PEI, where they managed full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and performance management for a diverse workforce of 6,900 employees. Carey successfully implemented flexible work opportunities and work-sharing programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before that, Carey was a Program Delivery Manager at Atlantic Lottery, where they led improvement and change initiatives across the organization. Carey also served as a Human Resources Business Partner at Atlantic Lottery, where they supported recruitment strategies, staff planning, and workforce planning.

Carey's earlier experience includes roles as a Human Resources Officer at Fortius Pharmaceutical and a People & Benefits Resources Coordinator at Delta Hotels by Marriott.

Carey Arsenault obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2001. Additionally, Carey has obtained various certifications, including a Workplace Mental Health Leadership Certificate Program from Queen's University in 2015 and a CPHR Badge from CPHR PEI in 2009.
