Avril Wu

Avril Wu is a designer, illustrator, and muralist currently operating at AV WU Design Studio since September 2019. Previously, Avril held roles at Makeship, serving as Creative and Brand Lead from September 2021 to February 2022, and as Senior Designer and Product Designer from April 2020 to December 2020. Earlier experience includes product design for ABC Dev., where Avril designed Inventory Management Software for clients such as Gate Gourmet, Loblaw, and Canon. Additional roles include Assistant Project Coordinator at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and talent positions at DHX Media, YTV Channel, and Mattel, Inc. Avril holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo and a Front-End Web Development certificate from General Assembly Canada, complemented by attendance at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts.
