Akash Gupta

Akash Gupta is the Director of Product Management at Ava Labs. Prior to this, they were a product lead at Uber, responsible for growth and communications platforms. Akash has also been a speaker at Product School and a product manager at Meta.

Akash Gupta has extensive experience in product management, having led teams of over 80 cross-functional members across a portfolio of products including communications platforms, data platforms, and targeting & segmentation platforms. Their focus is on increasing customer reach, driving growth and user engagement by enabling personalized experiences, and reducing channel delivery costs for Uber globally, across all lines of business including Mobility (Ridesharing), Delivery (UberEats, Postmates, Grocery, Package, etc. ) and Freight.

Akash Gupta has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Industrial & Systems Engineering. Akash also has a Master of Science from Tufts University in Human Factors Engineering. In addition, they have completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School. Akash also has certification from Staples as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and from SSI Scuba Schools International as a Certified Scuba Diver. Akash has also completed certification from Thinkful in Front End Web Development and from Product School in Product Management.
