Jay Kurahashi-Sofue

Jay Kurahashi-Sofue is the current VP of Marketing at Ava Labs. Prior to joining Ava Labs, Jay was the Head of Marketing at AirSwap from June 2018 to May 2020. AirSwap is a decentralized, peer-to-peer token trading network built on the Ethereum blockchain. Before AirSwap, Jay was the Head of Marketing at Fluidity from June 2018 to May 2020. Fluidity is connecting traditional finance and the growing ecosystem of financial applications built on open, decentralized infrastructure. Fluidity was acquired by ConsenSys in May 2020. Prior to Fluidity, Jay worked as a Global Consultant for Digital Strategy at Ogilvy from September 2015 to June 2018. Jay also worked as a Courier at Postmates Inc. from August 2015 to September 2015. Additionally, Jay has held internships at BBDO Worldwide and MRY.

Jay Kurahashi-Sofue attended Indiana University Bloomington, where they majored in Jay'story of Art and minored in Telecommunications. Jay also attended Rye Country Day School.
