Luigi D'Onorio Demeo

Luigi D'Onorio DeMeo has extensive experience in strategic leadership and financial markets. In January 2024, Luigi joined Ava Labs as Chief Strategy Officer, also serving as Interim Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Business Development and Ecosystem until January 2025. Prior to this, Luigi was a Senior Manager at DLA, LLC from March 2020 to May 2021 and co-founded Proof Media, where a focus on combating misinformation drove innovation in the startup space from May 2018 to May 2021. Luigi held the position of Valuations Lead at Sobel & Co., LLC from March 2017 to May 2018 and worked at Citi from February 2011 to February 2017, gaining substantial experience as a US Equity Trader and Credit Index Trader. Luigi began an academic journey at Seton Hall University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance, Economics, and Italian Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2010.
