Thomas J. Quigley

SVP of Reservoir Engineering at AVAD Energy Partners

Tom Quigley is the Senior Vice President of Reservoir Engineering and co-founder of AVAD Energy Partners 1 and AVAD Energy Partners II. Prior to AVAD, Tom was a Reservoir Engineer for Alpine Gas Company where he was responsible for acquisition evaluations and field studies of conventional reservoirs with a focus on redevelopment. Tom evaluated new drill wells and waterflood reserves for company-operated leases in Mississippi.

Tom started his career with Exxon Company in Andrews, Texas, as a Reservoir Engineer optimizing mature waterfloods. After two years, Tom relocated to Exxon’s Offshore Division in New Orleans where he continued his career evaluating and developing multiple fields in the Gulf of Mexico and maximizing Exxon’s gas sales in the emerging gas spot market. From 1990 to 2003, Tom was a Petroleum Engineering Consultant and Vice President/Technical Advisor at Netherland, Sewell & Associates in Dallas. Tom conducted annual oil and gas reserves evaluations for several companies including Vintage Petroleum and KCS Medallion Resources. Some of his major projects included the evaluation of West Texas waterfloods and miscible carbon dioxide floods and participation in the equity finalization study of Elk Hills. After Netherland, Sewell, Tom was a Reservoir Engineer for Hunt Petroleum Corporation’s East Texas, North Louisiana Team from 2003 to 2008 and a Reservoir Engineer in Encana’s Haynesville Team Reservoir Characterization group from 2008 to 2011.
