Marissa Pressley

Marissa Pressley has a diverse work experience in the accounting field. Marissa began their career as a Bookkeeper at Katherine Neville CPA in 2014, where they recorded expenses and income, prepared cash deposits, and assisted clients with their business records.

In 2016, Marissa joined The Omni Grove Park Inn as an Income Auditor, responsible for auditing and recording daily revenue, researching discrepancies, and achieving high marks on internal audits. Marissa later became a Senior Staff Accountant, where they performed various accounting tasks and developed new associates for both the staff accountant and income audit positions. Marissa also created standard operating procedures (SOPs) for income auditor tasks, contributing to training and growth in that role.

Most recently, Marissa served as an Accounting Manager at Avadim Health, Inc. starting in December 2018. Marissa designed comprehensive SOPs used across the accounting department and created an advanced workbook for pharmacy customer fees. Marissa facilitated collaboration between departments to improve procedures and relationships, ensuring the company could adapt to its rapid growth.

Throughout their work experience, Marissa has demonstrated a strong ability to contribute to accounting teams, improve processes, and achieve high standards of performance.

Marissa Pressley obtained their Associate's Degree from Hudson Valley Community College, where they studied but did not specify a specific field of study, between 2009 and 2011. Later, from 2012 to 2015, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management at the University of North Carolina Asheville.
