Radu Stefan

Radu Stefan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Radu started their career as an IT System Administrator at the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2001 and later became a Project Manager/Research Assistant. In 2008, they joined Microsoft as a Support Engineer and gradually advanced to roles such as Partner Technical Consultant Manager, Technical Evangelist, and Technical Evangelism Manager. At Microsoft, Radu Stefan was responsible for driving adoption and promoting Microsoft's platforms among developers, students, startups, and ISVs. Radu also worked as a Partner Technical Strategy Lead and Business Development Manager, supporting Independent Solution Vendors on their digital transformation journey. In 2019, Radu joined InterKnowlogy as a Business Development Manager before moving on to DigiQuery as an Artificial Intelligence Business Consultant in 2020. Currently, they work at Avaelgo as the Head of Business Development and previously served as the Head of Research and Development, where they led a team of engineers in developing new products and exploring cutting-edge solutions.

Radu Stefan has a diverse education history. Radu pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Universitatea Politehnica din Timișoara from 2018 to 2021. In 2020, they also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from Columbia Engineering. Prior to this, Radu earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Executive MBA from WU Executive Academy between 2014 and 2016.

Furthermore, they hold a Dipl.-Ing. (Engineering) degree from the University of Duisburg-Essen, where they studied from 1998 to 2004. In addition to their academic achievements, Radu has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These certifications include Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) from Microsoft, Microsoft-INSEAD Online Business Strategy and Financial Acumen from Microsoft-INSEAD, ITIL Foundation from EXIN, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI).
