Daniel Warter

Daniel Warter has over 12 years of work experience in the field of UX/UI Design. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Product Designer at Avail. Prior to that, they were a Senior Interaction Designer at Blue Shield of California, where they created UX strategies to identify user pain points and uncovered opportunities to improve the company's agent facing applications. From 2018-2020, they were a User Experience Designer at Esurance and a UX Designer for Freelance. From 2016-2018, they were a UX Designer at Retail Pro International, LLC, where they led the UI redesign project for their point of sale web and mobile applications. Daniel also worked as a Senior UX/UI Designer at SBM Management Services, LP, conducting user research through applied ethnography, surveys and user interviews in both Spanish and English. From 2014-2016, they were a UX Designer/QA Engineer at Qualcomm, working closely with engineering to create mockups for new designs and ensuring quality. In 2014, they also worked on a personal project, Dans Beer List, as a UX Designer/The Full Stack. From 2012-2014, they were a UX Designer/Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Empowered Careers, leading the design effort for their first iPhone app. Finally, from 2009-2012, they worked as a Bilingual Behavior Interventionist at ACES, helping shape the behaviors of children with special needs using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Daniel Warter obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley between the years of 2005 and 2006.
