Tait Jensen

Tait Jensen has been working in various roles since 2008. In 2008, they worked as a Soccer Referee for the Northern Illinois Soccer League. From 2012 to 2018, they held a variety of roles in different companies. At Davidson College, they were a Sports Information Student Assistant, where they recorded and communicated statistics with teams and media at football and basketball games, created and edited game programs, media guides, press releases, and other publications, and performed play-by-play announcing for soccer and baseball game broadcasts. Tait was an Intern at the Des Plaines Journal, where they researched and wrote a variety of local sports features and human-interest stories, and developed relationships with community leaders and sources as well as professional journalists. Tait was a Public Works Summer Worker at the City of Des Plaines and a Campaign Intern at Jim O'Donnell for State Senate, where they coordinated phone banking and letter campaigns aimed at over 100,000 voters and assisted candidate and campaign leaders with strategy, canvassing, and hosting events. Tait was a Summer Camp Counselor at the Des Plaines Park District, where they planned, designed, and executed 11 weeks worth of games, activities, and crafts meant to educate and entertain children aged 5-12. Tait was a Policy Intern at the Illinois Policy Institute, where they created presentations for Illinois Lieutenant Governor regarding public pensions and education, researched and wrote blogs and reports proposing policy solutions for a variety of local issues, and supported ground campaign for public school reform. At Allstate, they were in the Leadership Development Program and an Ethics Analyst. At Esurance, they were an Associate Program Manager - Customer Experience Strategy. At Avail, they held the roles of Head of Planning & Development, Launch Team Manager, Operations Manager, and Operations Specialist.

Tait Jensen attended Davidson College from 2012 to 2016, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Theirtory and a Minor in Economics. In 2014, they participated in a Study Abroad Semester at Queen Mary University of London, focusing on Theirtory and Economics.
