Azad Nalajala

Azad Nalajala has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Azad currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at Availity, a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at NTT DATA as a Strategic Advisor in Healthplans & Lifesciences and also as a Director - Enterprise Architect in Health Plans & Life Sciences from 2021 to 2022. From 2008 to 2021, they worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas, where they held the positions of Senior Manager IT Product and Senior Technology Architect. Before that, they were a Principal Consultant at Latitude CG from 2002 to 2008. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at Commerce One from 2000 to 2002 and as a Programmer at Ajilon from 1999 to 2000.

Azad Nalajala holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University. Azad later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Azad has obtained several certifications, including the Pragmatic Certified Product Manager from Pragmatic Institute, the Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org, and the MuleSoft Certified Developer and MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect from MuleSoft. Azad also holds certifications such as the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, the Certified Axway Associate from Axway, and various Sun Microsystems certifications including Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJD), Sun Certified Business Component Developer, Sun Certified Web Component Developer for Java 2EE (SCWCD), and Sun Certified Java Programmer.
