Mathias Wipf

Mathias Wipf is the CEO and Co-founder of MOMM Diagnostics, where responsibilities include the development of a Rapid Diagnostic Test for Preeclampsia since March 2018. Wipf also serves as a Development Engineer at Avails Medical, Inc. and as a Researcher at Empa, focusing on silicon nanowires for sensing. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at Yale University, concentrating on electrical biosensors for detecting protein biomarkers, and a postdoctoral researcher role at the University of Basel. Wipf's educational background includes a PhD in Physics, an MSc in Nanoscience, and a BSc in Nanosciences from the University of Basel, along with additional qualifications in entrepreneurial operations and leadership in science.
