Dr. Tobias Keller

Dr. Tobias Keller has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dr. Tobias started their career as an Intern in Controlling and Marketing at Nassauische Sparkasse in 2006. Dr. Tobias then worked as an Intern in Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2007 and as an Intern in Transaction Tax at EY in 2008. In 2009, they joined Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen as a Research and Teaching Assistant, where they conducted research in international accounting, finance, and strategic management. Dr. Tobias also served as a Lecturer in the PhD Program at the same university starting in 2014.

In 2015, Dr. Keller worked as a Senior in Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services - Forensic Data Analytics at EY. Dr. Tobias then joined DB Systel GmbH in 2016 as a Data Scientist, where they developed Artificial Intelligence systems in a big data environment. Dr. Tobias also held various responsibilities such as project and stakeholder management, deep reinforcement learning for train dispatching, and being part of the expert team of Deutsche Bahn AG. Dr. Tobias also served as the Head of the Analytics Chapter and designed and taught a Master Class for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Tobias continued their association with DB Systel GmbH as a Lecturer in their dual study program and in the Artificial Intelligence training program.

In 2018, Dr. Keller became a Lecturer in the PhD, MSc, and BSc Programs at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. In 2021, they co-founded AIRSPACES GmbH, a platform for hybrid workplace management. Additionally, in 2023, they co-founded AVAILY, a company focused on enabling the execution of New Work concepts. Throughout their career, Dr. Tobias Keller also worked as a Freelancer in IT Consulting from 2001 to 2015, providing their expertise to various clients.

Dr. Tobias Keller completed their undergraduate studies in Business and Economic Sciences at Justus Liebig University Giessen from 2003 to 2009, earning a degree in Diplom-Kaufmann. In 2007, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for a brief period to further study Business Sciences. Additionally, in 2008, they spent time at Montpellier Business School for further studies in Business Sciences.

In March 2016, Dr. Keller obtained their certification of Dr. rer. pol. from Justus Liebig University Giessen.
