Nikhil Gokhale

Nikhil Gokhale is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in architecting scalable cloud services and software development. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Principal Engineer at Avalara since August 2019, Nikhil focuses on tax calculation APIs within the complex indirect tax domain. Previously, Nikhil held positions as Cloud Software Architect at Coupa Software, where expertise in AWS and Azure infrastructure as code was applied, and as Sr. Architect at TIBCO Software Inc., contributing to the development of scalable SaaS products. Nikhil's earlier roles include Principal Engineer at Symantec, Project Leader at ADP, and extensive experience at TIBCO Software, where various critical products were developed, including Master Data Management solutions. Nikhil began a career in software engineering at IBM Global Services and Indicus Software, holding an M.S. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
