Blaine Bush

Software Developer at Avalon Innovation

Blaine Bush has a background in software development and scientific research. In 2013, Blaine worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis, where they collected and analyzed data in nuclear magnetic resonance experiments, designed and programmed pressure measurement devices, and modeled theoretical properties of novel materials. From 2015 to 2017, Blaine continued their research as a Graduate Student Researcher, collecting and analyzing data in nuclear magnetic resonance experiments, developing Python scripts for data logging, and controlling equipment for scientific experiments. During this time, Blaine also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching physics to undergraduate students and utilizing active-engagement teaching methods. In 2018, Blaine joined MAGNA Global as a Junior Research Engineer, where they developed and designed scientific thought leadership research projects in advertising, built websites and REST APIs for advertising studies, and worked with project managers using agile methodologies and behavior-driven design. Currently, Blaine works as a Software Developer at Avalon Innovation since March 2022.

Blaine Bush obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of California, Davis, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.
