Matthias Bjerkesjö Braakman

Matthias Bjerkesjö Braakman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Matthias began their career as a Development Engineer at QleanAir Scandinavia AB, where they worked on various air purification projects. Matthias then joined Aimpoint AB as a TAV Engineer. Following that, they worked as a Workshop Leader at Almi Företagspartner Kronoberg AB, where they conducted workshops on the Avalon Innovation Model (AIM).

In 2019, Matthias took on multiple consulting roles. At ApunktA AB, they were an Industrial Designer and Product Developer, contributing to the design and development of an automatic hay dispenser for horse owners. Matthias also worked as a Packaging Development Engineer at Tetra Pak, where they led package tests and collaborated with stakeholders worldwide. Additionally, they served as an Industrial Designer and Product Developer consultant at Radinn AB, specializing in mechanical development.

Matthias's experience in consulting continued in 2020 when they worked as a Mechanical Engineer consultant at Trust Care. Matthias provided expertise in mechanical engineering for the company.

In 2021, Matthias took on the role of Football Trainer at Linero IF while also working part-time as a Consultant: Tech Lead - Battery at Radinn AB. In September 2022, they assumed the position of Team Lead - Mechanics and Lead - Strategic Growth [Insight & Design] at Avalon Innovation, where they focus on leading teams and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Throughout their career, Matthias has demonstrated project management skills, an agile work approach, and expertise in industrial design and product development.

Matthias Bjerkesjö Braakman's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Guido de Brès, but no degree or field of study is specified. From 2006 to 2010, Matthias pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Lund University and earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Industrial Design.

In addition to their formal education, Matthias has obtained several certifications. Finally, in October 2018, Matthias obtained a certification in NX for Experienced Users from NEXTAGE Group.
