Jennifer Coogen

Jennifer Coogen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program and product management, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Corporate Initiatives & Innovation at AvalonBay Communities since August 2011. Coogen has a strong background in process improvement and innovation, demonstrated through a successful tenure at Marriott International as Sr. Director of Product Management for Mobile | Shop & Book, where digital eCommerce products and transformation were key focuses. Prior experience includes roles as Program Manager at Blackboard, specializing in product implementation for K-12 and higher education, and Project Manager at DCMA, where Coogen initiated a Skunkworks project to modernize agency applications. Coogen holds a PMP degree from Villanova University, certifications in Agile ScrumMaster and PMI-PMP, along with a BBA in Organizational Management from Radford University.
