Mihai Vistig

Mihai VISTIG is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in Java development, specializing in financial services and algorithmic trading. Currently serving as a Senior Java Software Engineer at Avaloq since January 2021, Mihai focuses on the CryptoCurrency Trading Product using advanced technologies such as Java 11&17, SpringBoot, and Kubernetes. Prior experience includes roles at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, where Mihai managed microservices for exotic derivatives, and BNP Paribas CIB, where responsibilities included improving a monolithic application and migrating it to a web-based architecture. Mihai's expertise in algorithmic trading was further developed at Mosaic Finance and Natixis. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from Polytech Nice Sophia and an Engineering degree from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
