Sharon Ong

Sharon Ong is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various regional HR leadership roles across Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia. Currently serving as the Head of HR for Avaloq since April 2017, Sharon has previously held significant positions including Director of HR Business Partnering at Blue Coat Systems, Regional HR Manager at Right Management, and HR Manager roles at Multi-Fineline Electronix and Belden Singapore. Sharon's expertise encompasses the full spectrum of HR functions such as talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and talent management, with a strong track record of ensuring compliance and alignment in HR practices across multiple countries including Singapore, China, Japan, and Australia. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Banking and Finance from the University of London.
