Matt Wilk

Matt Wilk has extensive work experience in the financial and real estate industry. Matt is currently the Vice President of CRE Originations at AVANA Companies, a position they started in April 2022. Prior to this, Matt was the Managing Member of MAE Real Estate, LLC starting in August 2020.

Before their role at MAE Real Estate, Matt worked at The State Bank as a Vice President of Commercial Lending from July 2017 to August 2020. Matt also held the position of Senior Vice President at HomeBanc, N.A. from August 2013 to July 2017.

Earlier in their career, Matt held various Vice President roles at Huntington National Bank and Flagstar Bank. Matt also served as a Senior Vice President at Milestone Realty Services, where they specialized in real estate transactions, investment management, and foreclosure consulting.

Matt started their career as a Senior Associate at D'Ancona & Pflaum in 1997 and later worked at Citizens Republic Bancorp and Builders Bank in vice president roles. Overall, Matt Wilk has a diverse background in commercial lending, real estate, and investment management.

Matt Wilk attended Sterling Heights High School from 1987 to 1990. Matt then went on to study at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from 1990 to 1994. After completing their undergraduate studies, Matt continued their education at the University of Michigan Law School from 1994 to 1997. The degree and field of study for their law school education are not specified.
