Angela Morehead, DNP, FNP, C-EFM

Angela Morehead, DNP, FNP, C-EFM has a diverse and extensive work experience. Angela currently holds the position of Research Director at Avana Health since 2022. In addition, they work as an Adjunct Professor at Franklin University starting from May 2023. Angela also serves as a Nurse Practitioner at IVX Health since November 2022. Prior to their current roles, they worked as a Professor of Nursing at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2017 to August 2022. Before joining MTSU, Angela worked as a Nurse Practitioner at John A Morehead MD from January 2012 to January 2022.

Angela Morehead, DNP, FNP, C-EFM, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in 2003. Angela then went on to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from MTSU in 2006. Following that, Angela completed their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at MTSU in 2012.

Continuing their education, Angela pursued a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at Belmont University, which they completed in 2017. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in February 2013 and as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse from the State of Tennessee Board of Nursing in February 2012.
