Adria Sherman

Adria Sherman (M.Sc., PSPO) has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Adria began their career as a Research Assistant at the Beckman Laser Institute in 2009. In 2011, they became a Graduate Student Researcher at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Systems Laboratory. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer, SME at QSI | Mirth and as a Biomedical Engineer at Sonendo® Inc. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Scientific Editor. In 2017, they joined NextGen Healthcare as a Product Owner/Senior Business Analyst II, and was later promoted to Senior Business Analyst. In 2021, they moved to Ethyca as a Senior Product Manager and Technical Product Manager. Most recently, they joined Avaneer Health as a Senior Product Manager in 2022.

Adria Sherman holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), which they obtained between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UC Irvine between 2007 and 2011. Adria also holds a Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certification from Scrum.org, which they obtained in March 2021. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap (December 2020), Project Portfolio Management Foundations (April 2020), Behavior-Driven Development (November 2019), and Building Accountability into Your Culture (November 2019). Adria also has a Mirth Connect Certification from QSI | Mirth (March 2015) and an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (January 2015).
