Spencer Brownell has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare and financial industries. In 2021, they began working as Business Development Leader for Avaneer Health, a member-based network that provides payers and providers with the answers they need to initiate and optimize care for people across their lifetimes. In 2020, they co-founded Thrive Wellness Now, a company committed to the health and wellness of patients. In 2019, they became the SVP Business Development for Tovaris.io, a payment processing advisory and brokerage firm. In 2016, they were Vice President Business Development for Change Healthcare's consumer payment solutions. In 2014, they joined the HIMSS Revenue Cycle Improvement Taskforce, a group of senior leaders from providers, payers, industry consultants, and healthcare technology companies. In 2013, they became Senior Vice President and Sr. Healthcare Account Executive for Citi's new consumer healthcare payment network, Money2 for Health. From 2001 to 2013, they were an independent proprietary trader and community volunteer. In 1998, they were a Manager for Keane Consulting. In 1997, they were a Financial Consultant for Merrill Lynch. In 1994, they were a Financial Consultant for Olde Financial, a personal wealth management firm that was acquired by H&R Block.

Spencer Brownell completed a High Impact Selling: A Toolkit for Success program at Kellogg Executive Education in 2020. Spencer earned a B.S. in Applied Economics and Marketing from Cornell University in 1992. Spencer also attended Canandaigua Academy from 1979 to 1982.
