Elena Tomadakis

Elena Tomadakis is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in program and project management within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Program Engineering Manager at Avangrid Renewables since July 2020, Elena previously held key positions such as Engineering Manager at Mott MacDonald and Senior Project Manager at Pike Electric. Notable achievements include leading the design of over 1,500 kilometers of overhead distribution lines in Tanzania and managing complex engineering projects like the upgrade of a switchyard for Beacon Power. Elena's early career included roles as an Electrical Designer with Mott MacDonald and a Designer with Vanderweil Engineers. Elena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, completed in 2003.
