Matt Koenig

Matt Koenig has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Matt currently works at Avangrid Renewables as a Project Director, leading various projects. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at Chevron, where they handled pipeline support, regulatory guidance, inspection, and maintenance support. Matt also managed the data and analytics department, overseeing budgeting, staffing, and resource planning. Additionally, Matt served as a Project Assurance Lead, conducting assurance reviews for major capital projects and building a project information database. Earlier in their career, they worked at Fluor Corporation as a Project Engineer, supporting the development of major capital projects in the upstream oil and gas sector. Matt also had a role as a Project Engineer at Coflexip Stena Offshore, where they managed the evaluation, selection, and contract management of line pipe/SCR supply and fabrication of subsea structures.

Matt Koenig obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1997.
