Jean-Marc Pougnet

Jean-Marc Pougnet is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in food and beverage management and resort operations. Currently serving as the Resort Manager at Avani Hotels and Resorts since October 2021, Jean-Marc has successfully contributed to the property receiving accolades such as the Tripadvisor Best of the Best 2023 Award and the Green Growth 2050 - Platinum Certification. Prior roles include Director of Food and Beverage at both Avani + Khao Lak and Anantara Hotels, where Jean-Marc managed food and beverage operations and upheld high standards of service and hygiene. Earlier career highlights encompass positions at Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort and Renaissance Zurich Hotel, along with co-ownership of a boutique resort in Thailand.
