Thijs Wervelman

Thijs Wervelman has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and project management. Thijs started their career in 2016 as a Student Assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In 2017, they worked as a Researcher at Universitair Medisch Centrum Groningen and later joined Factory CRO for Medical Devices and IVDs as a Clinical Research Associate. In 2020, Thijs joined Five Corners Pty Ltd as a Clinical Research Associate for a short period before moving to Avania, where they held multiple roles. Thijs began as a Clinical Research Associate and progressed to Senior Clinical Research Associate. Currently, Thijs works at Avania as an Associate Project Manager since October 2022.

Thijs Wervelman completed their education at the University of Groningen. From 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Bewegingswetenschappen (Human Movement Sciences). Thijs then continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Movement Sciences from 2015 to 2017.
