Dr. Hilton Kaplan

Dr. Hilton Kaplan, MBBCh FCSSA PhD, serves as the VP & Chief Medical Officer at Avanos Medical and holds the position of Adjunct Professor in Regulatory Science at the University of Southern California. With a strong background in biomedical engineering, having earned a PhD from the University of Southern California, Kaplan has also acted as Medical Director at BioLab Arts / DermoGenesis USA and participated in academia as a Research Associate Professor and Associate Director at the NJ Center for Biomaterials while working as a Visiting Scientist at Rutgers University. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Clinical Sciences at LifeCell Corporation and obtaining a Master's degree in Regulatory Science from the University of Southern California.
