Rushi Potdar Mbbs

Rushi Potdar MBBS MBA currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and VP of Global Medical Affairs in the Oncology Business Unit at Takeda since November 2025. Prior to this, Rushi held the role of Franchise Head for US Medical Affairs in GI Cancers at AstraZeneca from January 2024 to November 2025. At The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, Rushi advanced from Group Medical Director to Medical Director for Oncology, focusing on solid tumors and leading medical strategies and clinical trials for prostate cancer from 2019 to December 2023. Rushi's earlier experience includes roles in global R&D strategy at Johnson & Johnson, attending oncology surgery at MIOT Hospitals, and residency in general surgery at GKNM Hospital. Rushi holds an MBA from Duke University, a DNB in General Surgery, and an MBBS degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
