Kaveesha Baddage

Kaveesha Baddage has been working in the software engineering field since 2016. Kaveesha began as a Tech Blog Writer for guywithtech.blogspot.com, where they wrote technical articles related to software engineering and electronic DIY projects. Kaveesha then joined TechWire.lk as an Editor and Technical Writer. In 2017, they became a Core Team Member for Developer Circles from Facebook, a global network of communities that brings together developers in their own local communities. Kaveesha also held the role of Associate Software Engineer and Software Engineering Intern at MillenniumIT in 2017, and Facilitator for the Microsoft Student Champs Program. In 2018, they became a Software Engineer at Apigate and in 2020, a Software Engineer at Axiata Digital Labs. Kaveesha was also an Intern at Google Summer of Code 2017 for Sustainable Computing Research Group (SCoRE). Finally, in 2016, they were a Radio Presenter for Sri Lanka Broadcasting Cooporation. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Avanseus.

Kaveesha Baddage has completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colombo from 2015 to 2018. Kaveesha then pursued a Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics from the University of Moratuwa from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they completed their secondary education at Ananda College from 2003 to 2011. Kaveesha has also obtained several certifications, including AWS Machine Learning Foundations from Udacity in October 2021, Certificate in English Language at level of Intermediate 3 from the British Council in April 2016, Certificate in English Language at level of Intermediate 2 from the British Council in January 2016, Diploma In English from ESOFT METRO CAMPUS in November 2011, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2020.
