Mariana Burak

Mariana Burak is an accomplished academic and language specialist with extensive experience in various educational roles. Currently serving as a STAMP Rater at Avant Assessment since November 2022, Mariana also holds the position of Academic Director at the School of Ukrainian Language and Culture at Ukrainian Catholic University since June 2008. Additionally, Mariana is a University Professor at the University of Toronto and will contribute as a Lecturer at the University of Michigan from January 2023 to May 2024. Previous positions include Language Instructor at European-University Viadrina and Project Coordinator and Language Tutor at the University of Michigan. Mariana's educational background includes a Fulbright Visiting Researcher degree in Linguistics from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Language Pedagogy from Ternopil National Pedagogical University, complemented by a Master's degree in Germanic Languages from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Mariana is currently pursuing a post-graduate course in Language Test Design and Validation at the University of Jaen, Spain.
