Melissa Harper, PhD, LMFT-QS has a strong background in counseling and therapy, specializing in working with children and families. With experience in various educational institutions and clinical settings, Melissa has provided therapy, guidance counseling, and play therapy to individuals dealing with mental health issues and behavioral challenges. Melissa currently serves as the Director of Guidance at Avant Garde Academy Broward, offering social-emotional support to middle and high school students. Through their roles as an adjunct professor and therapist, Melissa has demonstrated their expertise in the field of marriage and family therapy, equipped with a Ph.D. in the subject from Nova Southeastern University.
