Lutfi is a Medical Data Scientist with experience practicing as a physician as well as a health economics researcher in Malaysia. His years of working in a hospital environment as well as researching the microeconomics of health care ignited his passionate towards transforming health systems towards one that is aligned to value. He previously interned at the World Health Organization headquarters in Geneva.Lutfi received his MD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and completed his clinical training at Sungai Buloh Hospital in Malaysia. He also earned a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) at Harvard University, where his thesis focused on the implementation of value-based health care through innovations in health information technology.
