Kayla Hedges Phr

Kayla Hedges, PHR, SHRM-CP, has held various HR roles throughout their career. Kayla began in 2006 as an HR Assistant at Vermillion, Inc. Kayla then moved on to Dean & Deluca as a Talent Management Specialist in 2008. In 2009, they joined Envision, Inc as an HR Operations & Benefits Manager. In 2016, they became a Human Resources Director at Aimbridge Hospitality before joining Avantic Lodging Enterprises as Vice President of Human Resources in November 2019.

Kayla Hedges, PHR, SHRM-CP, completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Human Resource Management from Wichita State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in the field of human resources. Kayla became a Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) in May 2012, receiving the certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Kayla also obtained the SHRM-CP certification from the SHRM Certification in March 2015. Kayla further enhanced their expertise by acquiring another Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in February 2012.
