Claes Börtemark

Claes Börtemark has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Claes started their career as a Programmer at Andersen Consulting, where they worked on system development for large logistic systems. Claes then joined AU-System as a Project Manager, focusing on technical analysis, specifications, and project management.

Afterwards, Claes worked as a Project Manager at Icon Medialab, where they managed the development of services and applications on different websites. Claes then moved to 3 (Hi3G Access) as a Product Manager and Project Manager, leading the initial development and commercial launch of a web project.

Claes then joined Spray/Lycos as a Product Owner/Team Leader, where they had overall responsibility for the product development and operation of a dating service online. Claes continued their career at Teracom as a Product Manager, responsible for broadband products and starting a new business area.

Claes then worked at Tele2 as a Product Manager in the Product Management department for Internet and TV, focusing on the commercial development of the company's product portfolio for residential customers.

Claes later joined Amadeus IT Group, where they held multiple roles. Claes started as a Product Marketing Manager and Partner Manager, responsible for various product areas and leading the operational work within the product team. Claes then became a Segment Portfolio Manager, overseeing the products and services in the customer segment Leisure. Lastly, they worked as a Solution Consultant, analyzing customers' business models, creating custom solutions, specifying requirements for new innovative solutions, and proposing proposals.

Most recently, Claes has been working at Avantime as the Head of Operations. In this role, they are part of the management team and heads a team of project managers, support, and testers. Claes is responsible for service delivery to customers, working on HR, recruitment, support and maintenance offerings, agreements, new sales, and budget and result follow-up.

Claes Börtemark pursued their education, beginning in 1985, at Åva Gymnasium. However, no degree or field of study information is available for this period. Subsequently, from 1989 to 1994, they enrolled in the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they completed their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
