Julia Krasovic

Julia Krasovic has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Julia currently holds the position of VP Technology and Innovation, VOLTA at Avantium since January 2024.

Before that, they served as an Engineering Manager at Avantium from August 2021. Prior to their management role, they worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Avantium from June 2018 to August 2021.

Before joining Avantium, Julia worked at Ocean Project as a Scientific Coordinator from December 2020 to December 2022.

Julia has also worked at Axine Water Technologies as a Senior Electrochemical Systems Engineer from September 2016 to May 2018. Notable accomplishments in this role include successfully developing a functional system for treating wastewater in a commercial setting and designing multiple systems to reduce pollutants in wastewater streams.

Julia also worked as a Group Leader Electrochemical Engineer at Liquid Light, Inc. from February 2015 to August 2016, where they significantly improved the electrochemical process and championed the complete development cycle.

Julia started their career at De Nora Tech, Inc. in 2006, initially as a Manufacturing Engineer DNOx and later held roles as Research Engineer I and II, Senior Research and Development Engineer, and Senior Manufacturing/Process Engineer. Notable achievements include obtaining a patent for a novel gas diffusion electrode and liaising with an international team to ensure the quality of coatings.

Julia's early work experience includes a role as a Process Improvement Engineer at Eltech Systems Corporation from August 2005 to October 2006.

Julia began their career as a Receptionist at Classic Auto Group and worked there for six years, from 1998 to 2004.

Julia Krasovic completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University between 2000 and 2004. Julia also attended Harvard Business School Online in 2023, studying Business Administration and Management, General.
