Maurice Mourad

Maurice Mourad serves as the Director of Business Development for Avantium, focusing on contract research and advanced high-throughput systems for catalyst and reaction screening. In addition to this role, Maurice Mourad is a Committee Member of the Innovation workgroup for D66, contributing to economic initiatives. Previously, Maurice Mourad was a Programme Coordinator and Business Developer at ARC CBBC, where responsibilities included managing research portfolios and fostering partnerships between academic and private entities. With a strong background in materials development as a Senior Scientist at TNO and experience as a Scientific Consultant for Bio Nano Consulting, Maurice Mourad holds a PhD in Physical and Colloid Chemistry from Utrecht University, complemented by a research internship at Lund University.
