Milagros Daetz

Milagros Daetz has a strong background in finance, with experience in various leadership roles. Milagros is currently the Vice President Finance, Americas at Avantor, where they lead a 33-person team and provides financial expertise for strategy and business investments. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Finance Director, North America Commercial & Strategic Partners at Avantor, where they headed a seven-person team and was responsible for contract analytics, risk mitigation, and customer contract negotiations.

Before joining Avantor, Milagros worked as the Finance Director at Bimbo Bakeries USA, leading a four-person team and presenting performance reviews to executive leadership. Milagros also held multiple roles at Diageo, including Financial Planning & Analysis Director for the Diageo Beer Company, where they managed a team and provided insights to senior leadership for improving commercial programs.

Earlier in their career, Milagros worked as the Treasurer at Distribuidora Cesar Guerrero, S.A. and as a Corporate Loan Assistant at Banco de America Central (BAC). Overall, their extensive experience in finance, leadership, and strategic decision-making make their a valuable asset to any organization.

Milagros Daetz holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and Strategy from Duke University. Milagros also completed their undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance.
