Ruth Castillo

Ruth Castillo is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as Vice President Global Chemicals at Avantor since May 2018, with prior roles including Vice President Business Transformation and Vice President Supply Chain and Engineering - NuSil. Previously, Ruth held several positions at Celanese from August 2009 to May 2018, including Global Business Director roles overseeing P&L responsibilities for significant global chemical and polymer businesses. Ruth's career also includes roles at Titan Wood BV and Celanese, focused on business development and sales management. Ruth holds an MBA in Marketing and International Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.
