Ben Griffiths

Ben Griffiths has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Ben is currently the Head of IT at Avantra, a leading AIOps platform for SAP automation operations. In this role, they help SAP customers improve their business experience, performance, and compliance by providing a unified operations platform. Before joining Avantra, Ben worked at Opsview as an Infrastructure and Operations Manager, overseeing the company's infrastructure and operations. Prior to that, they were the IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager at ITRS Group. Ben also served as the Information Technology Support Manager at Hermes Cargo and the Infrastructure and Support Manager at WSH Ltd, where they managed teams and supported various devices and servers. Their career in IT began as a 2nd/3rd Line Engineer at Techland.

Ben Griffiths attended the University of Brighton from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering. Ben has also obtained multiple certifications, including "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine: Foundations," "Architecting with Google Cloud Platform," "Reliable Cloud Infrastructure: Design and Process," "AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native," "Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Containers and Services," "Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation," "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services," "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation," and "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure," from Coursera. The certifications were obtained between June 2019 and April 2020.
