Renee Brickman has a diverse work experience in the retail and design industry. Renee started their career as a Product Visual Manager at BHLDN in 2014, where they were responsible for visual merchandising and managed a team. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Display Lead at West Elm, executing both directive and off-directive displays and serving as a liaison between the home office and the visual managers. Renee then became the NW District Display Lead at West Elm from 2016 to 2017, overseeing the district's display and providing coaching and training. In 2017, they joined Rejuvenation as an Associate Visual Manager, where they managed the visual team, maintained inventory levels, and promoted sales and culture through visual merchandising. Renee also supported new store openings and building innovative displays. Their most recent role was as an In-Field Designer at AvantStay, starting in 2020, where they executed projects from design to installation, implemented brand standards, and incorporated local art into each property.

Renee Brickman's education history includes attending multiple institutions at different times. Renee began their education in 2000 at Brooks College of Design, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Fashion/Apparel Design, completing their studies in 2002. In 2005, Renee briefly studied Printmaking at Pacific Northwest College of Art, and also received a certification of education in Apparel and Textiles from the Paris Fashion Institute. In 2007, they pursued continuing education in Adobe Photoshop at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Finally, in 2009, Renee completed a certificate of completion in Small Business Administration/Management from Bellevue College.
