Brian Grummel

Brian Grummel, Ph.D. is currently the Senior Director of Energy Storage Engineering at Avantus. Prior to this role, Brian served as the Manager of Energy Storage Deployment and Engineering at Greensmith Energy, a Wärtsilä company. With a background in Power Electronics and Semiconductor Science from GeneSiC Semiconductor, Brian also conducted doctoral research in Power Semiconductor at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Dr. Grummel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
